I'm still recovering after me, Ruel Fox and some of my other furry friends took the Flymo down to Ascot for Ladies Day. Wow! All those beautiful women in beautiful dresses, sometimes it's great to be a burrowing animal looking up at the world (especially when not all the ladies adhere to the knicker rule!).

Anyway, the remaining three Euro quarter-finals dominate this weekend's sporting action. We start with Croatia v Turkey and you have to check out our special called "Cold Turkey". A Turkey Team Special which is definitely worth a look.

Those who have been watching every minute of the Euros will tell you that the tournament has been more exciting than you might think. Most teams (bar Greece) have tried to play attacking football and this has made the games far more exciting than expected. And no game has been more exciting than the Group A encounter between Turkey and the Czech Republic on Sunday night. One client would have thought he was a prime candidate for the section below after buying Turkey Team Goal Minutes at 53 for £20. The Turks were down and out after Jan 'the human totem-pole' Koller and Jaroslav Plasil had seemingly put the Czechs into the quarters. But with only 15 minutes to go, Turkey pulled off the result of the tournament as Turan scored on 75. Then the dramatics started as the world's best goalkeeper dropped a cross into the path of Nihat for the striker to equalise in the 87th minute. The punter must have been as rapturous as the Turkey supporters, and they all could not have dreamed that just two minutes later, Nihat would break through the Czech defence once again and finish majestically into the top corner to send Turkey through to the quarters and earn our man £3,960.

If it wasn't for the fact that a Tiger Woods major victory is one of the biggest news stories in world sport then surely more would have been made about Rocco Mediate's remarkable second place finish last week. The 45-year-old veteran is no stranger to US Open playoffs after he birded the first extra hole to qualify for the tournament. Mediate claimed one of six Open spots in a thrilling 11 man playoff in Ohio just two weeks before the year's second major. One client who didn't rate the qualifier's chances bought Rocco's Finishing Position at 55 for £25 expecting the man from Pennsylvania to be home in time for the weekend. In what was one of the most thrilling major tournaments in years, Mediate, around the top of the leaderboard all week, was denied the championship on the final green when Tiger holed for birdie to force a playoff. This meant that the worst rule in golf kicked in and there was to be an 18 hole playoff the following day. After 18 more dramatic holes the two could not be separated (even their attire was similar), but on the first sudden death hole the wounded Tiger won his 14th major tournament as Rocco ran out of steam. Mediate's second place finish meant that our man was not the only one left to nurse something sore after this epic. We hope the punter's £1,325 will not put him out for the season as well!

Euro 2008 Men, women and children the length and breadth of Italy were crying into their cannelloni following the Azzurri's 3-0 defeat to Holland. But they have recovered and Donadoni's men are up 24 to 45-49 on our Outright Index since that disastrous start.

Big Brother Two weeks in, only another 70-odd days to go (woo hoo!). Still plenty of time for you to have a punt on the BB action. Luke, who survived the axe last week, looks to be gathering steady support if his price rise is anything to go by. The vice-free Justin Timberlake look-alike has shot up 10 to 21-24 on our Big Brother Index in just over a week.

Super League Despite a positive start against Saints, injury-ravaged Bradford suffered their fourth consecutive defeat at Knowsley Road last Friday. The Bulls have dropped three to 14-17 on our Super League Outright Index.

Mildly interesting / useless sporting fact

While playing for Borussia Dortmund against Bayern Munich, Jan Koller was forced to go in goal midway through the second half after Jens Lehmann was sent off. The giant striker had already scored in the game and became the hero of the match by not conceding and saving well from some good Bayern opportunities. Koller was named the Bundesliga's top keeper of the week for his performance.
